The short version

Hear Art does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The app contains no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Information stored on your device

Your language, appearance, accent color, focus style, saved artworks, listening progress, and local purchase cache are stored only on your device using app storage. This information is not sent to the developer and is removed when you delete the app.

Audio delivery

Narration audio is delivered through Cloudflare R2 and cached on your device for replay. Like any internet request, requesting an audio file provides Cloudflare with technical information such as your IP address so the file can be delivered. Hear Art does not log or associate those requests with an identity. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

App Store purchases

The one-time collection unlock is processed by Apple. The developer does not receive or store your payment card or billing details. Purchase entitlement is checked through StoreKit. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Hear Art does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. The catalogue contains classical fine art and may include artistic nudity in a museum and art-history context.

Policy changes

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect and the date above will be revised.
