Hear Art

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Hear Art app for iPhone and iPad, this website and the Hear Art plugin for ChatGPT (together, “Hear Art”), published by Alberto Rodríguez Salgado. By using Hear Art you agree to them.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Using Hear Art

Hear Art offers stories about works of art, museum maps and visit plans for your personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, redistribute or resell its films, narrations, texts or images, or use automated means to extract them.

The app and purchases

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The optional collection unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple.

The Hear Art plugin for ChatGPT

The plugin works inside ChatGPT, which OpenAI provides under its own terms. Visit plans are put together by ChatGPT using Hear Art's museum data, so review a plan before relying on it. Sending a plan to the app requires connecting the app, and you can disconnect at any time. Nothing can be bought through the plugin.

Museum information

Room locations, walking times and visit durations are estimates based on museum maps and may be out of date. Museums can move, lend or withdraw works and close rooms without notice, so always follow museum staff and signage. Hear Art does not sell tickets and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Museo del Prado, the Musée du Louvre or any other museum, nor by OpenAI or Apple.

Content

Stories are researched and written for a general audience and may simplify or interpret history. Artwork images are reproductions of public-domain works or are used with permission. Story films combine these reproductions with illustrated scenes, narration and music, some of which are created with AI tools.

Availability and liability

Hear Art is provided as it is. Content, features and supported museums may change or end. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Hear Art, including reliance on museum information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Changes

These terms may be updated as Hear Art changes. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use Hear Art after an update means you accept it.
